Every once in a while, I like to take my shopping jaunts off Michigan Avenue and search for finds that won’t find their way into anyone’s closet but my own.
This Sunday, October 16, I’m heading to Dose Market (River East Art Center, 435 E. Illinois) to peruse Chicago’s best vendors in fashion, food and interior design. Tickets are $8 when purchased in advance online, or $10 at the door.
I’m most excited to visit Petiole, who is debuting their spring season at Dose for the first time. Petiole is designed by two sisters originally from Chicago that are now in their third year since launching their line. They have recently been featured in Refinery 29, Lucky, Daily Candy and Women’s Wear Daily. Their ethereal, lingerie-inspired looks will be available at Dose at a special trunk show price (which is far less than you would pay at Steven Alan, where Petiole is sold year-round.)
Check out Petiole’s Spring/Summer 2012 flyer below, and their previous collections online!
