A couple years back I picked up a book that eventually drove me to my Vegetarian diet. Not only did I become a Vegetarian, but overall I adopted a healthier lifestyle that I have maintained to this day. This book is called “Skinny Bitch.”

I would not recommend “Skinny Bitch” to someone who thinks that they are embarking on a light read. This was some heavy stuff. I was a huge carnivore and self-proclaimed sugar addict. Today, I have cut out meat, dairy, sweeteners and caffeine. Kim Barnouin, the author, has written numerous lifestyle and cooking books that have changed the way we look at our food.
