In the event that you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend that happens to also be free (after blowing all your cash at last week’s Old Town Art Fair), I suggest you take a look at Chicago Park District’s 2012 Movies in the Park calendar.

This weekend, catch Sandlot at Oz Park in Lincoln Park. Already booked? Next Wednesday, A League of Their Own is Playing outside the Chicago History Museum.
The 12th Annual Movies in the Park production is again presented by Charter One. All movies start at dusk, and admission is still $0 (just bring your own chair, blanket and refreshments). For more details, check out the CPD’s website.
