‘Tis the season for holiday treats!
Growing up, my aunt would send all of her siblings boxes full of homemade chex mix. The chex would go so quick that eventually, my mom learned to hide half, because it would all be eaten before Christmas. Enjoy this inexpensive, easy and delicious snack at any party, get together or afternoon with family and friends!
Ingredients:
- 3 cups Corn Chex cereal
- 3 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 3 cups Wheat Chex ceareal
- 1 cup mixed nuts
- 1 cups pretzels
- 6 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 Chex Party Mix seasoning packet
Directions:
Heat oven to 250 degrees. Melt butter in large roasting pan in oven. Stir in contents of seasoning pack. Gradually stir in remaining ingredients until evenly coated.
Bake for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towel to cool.
Serve your guests or store in air-tight container and ENJOY!!
