After a 13-year hiatus, Henri Bendel is returning to the Magnificent Mile.
Bendel’s, a New York icon iconified by glittery cocktail rings and it’s signature brown and white stripes, will open up shop at Water Tower Place (835 N. Michigan Ave.) in November.
Henri Bendel opened his first shop in Manhattan in 1895, and quickly became the American socialites go-to for indie designers (which, in the early 1900s, included the likes of Coco Chanel).
Today, Bendel’s no longer sells clothing, and instead focuses on small leather goods, jewelry and other gift items. See below for the Bendel baubles I’m coveting most.
If you can’t wait, head to HenriBendel.com and use the gift code HOLIDAY to score 10 percent off $200 or more, along with free ground shipping. Happy shopping.
